Courtney Iverson, D.V.M.
Dr. Iverson joined Fox Valley Equine Practice in 2016 after completing an internship at Fairfield Equine Associates in Newtown, CT. During her internship, she assisted in surgery and anesthesia, lameness work-ups and treatments, and provided emergency care.
Dr. Iverson moved around a bit as a child, but spent a majority of her childhood in Long Grove, Illinois. She competed in the local and A show circuit in hunters and equitation. Dr. Iverson completed her undergraduate studies at Purdue University focusing in Animal Sciences and went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. As a student, she received an award for Exceptional Proficiency and Professionalism in Equine Practice from the Indiana Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Iverson enjoys all aspects of equine medicine with a special interest in lameness and sports medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Iverson is married and owns two horses and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys riding her two horses and competing in hunters with her horse Vegas. When she is not working or riding, Dr. Iverson enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, water skiing and reading.
